Pyromorphite, a secondary mineral of lead, Pb5(PO4)5CL. Aberdaunant mine, Central Wales Orefield. Apple green in a globular habit with a sub-columnar structure. The base rock is coated with a mixture of quartz, galena, and goethite/haematite. Pyromorphite is also found at this mine as small barrel shaped crystals, and as encrustations.
